Two members of this small group meet in the village hall on a Sunday after church with the parents and their children prior to their child's baptism. The parents have previously had a time with Rob to explore emotional and spiritual issues in relation to their own experiences and their child’s baptism. We are frequently very fortunate to have Rosie Condrup to occupy older siblings during our meetings. Thank you Rosie.

We as a group talk about the service, answering questions and explore personal testimonies. We meet the families at their needs offering information about our church and groups that they might be interested in and encourage them to come and join with us. We each try to attend the baptism of the families we have prepared, and the ‘welcome’ at the Young Family Service.

Having had a relatively quiet year on the baptism front, we look forward to welcoming lots of new families to join with us this year!

There were 6 weddings in the church last year and 5 weddings and a wedding blessing planned for this year.

In the last few months we have drawn up a leaflet with suggestions for choral and organ music and readings which we send out to engaged couples.
